The Sunday Night Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection on the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into future happenings. You're Welcome
The shop is feeling all the fall vibes and with the doors open and the beautiful crisp air coming through, it felt like everything is really going to be okay. But what a week. Staying responsibly aware of all the political and/or social details in a single day in 2020 can really do a number on your psyche. Remember to practice some self care (I am very much loving my dry brush again and I know reading is not exactly wellness, but something about the start of fall always has me picking up new and old books). I feel so lucky to have had such great news on a few things this week with clients and friends and little Mabel and Sofia's have kept our household light and at times hilarious.
Estelle Colored Glass has arrived at the shop and I can one hundred percent say that it is so much more ethereal in person. The colors are bright, the shapes and craftsmanship stunning and each piece is signed, which I absolutely love. Designer of Estelle Colored Glass, Stephanie Summerson Hall, calls her glassware "jewels for your table" and I cannot think of a better way to describe these beauties. They are just so special.
We have a very limited quantity in stock with a whole bunch more on the way. Please note that your order for glassware may ship the first week in November. Trust me when I say it is worth the wait.

If you're not following Newport Public Art on social media, here is their link on Instagram. I love the work these guys are doing and adding incredible installations throughout the city and giving such an amazing opportunity for artists to be seen. I can not wait for the one Luke Brenner is doing on Marlborough Street to be finished, but in the meantime, here is a piece the team from Newport Public Art made today!

Smoke House announced new menu items and they will be extending their season with takeout and delivery instead of closing for the season. I have been loving all the food from Newport Restaurant Group lately - they make it super easy to order, to make reservations and they have great menus and support artists by showing work from the likes of Sue McNally (Bar 'Cino Newport and Bar 'Cino Brookline) and yours truly (Bar 'Cino Brookline).
This week coming is all about wrapping up commissions and a couple of small installations to make room for a couple of bigger projects I am working on and although I can't share them just yet, I am bursting with excitement to be able to make a few really cool announcements so soon. Plus! I am getting holiday orders in and I have so much to say about that, but for now let's ease into fall and enjoy the change of season and all those warm colors. In the meantime, here is an installation shot from the incredible Hammetts Hotel with a painting by the very talented artist William Heydt.
