Robert Longo
I've had a long time affinity for Robert Longo. I love how interesting his work is, it makes one think, it's simple and seems to be moving with emotion all on its own. Longo's commentary on social unrest and consumer capitalism is as applicable today as it was when it was created in 1980s.
This piece was the invitation to the exhibition "Men in Cities, lithographs 1982-1985" held at the Brooke Alexander Gallery from November 9th to December 5th, 1985 and was a key piece of promotional material that announced and invited guests to Longo's exhibition showcasing his lithographs from the "Men in Cities" series.
I have several clients with Longo's work in their collection and I continue to source large-scale lithographs of his hyper realistic charcoal drawings for clients. If you are interested in adding Robert Longo to your collection, send me a note here hello@kristencoates.net
