This particular Confetti was painted at the end of a summer with days made better by Swim Club, a friendly meet up I started selfishly so I didn’t have to go to the water solo everyday. Why live on an island if you’re not going to take advantage of the sea on every  possible summer day. LIke the sea, the colors are vibrant and the movement is strong in this painting. While painting it I felt a great sense of friendship and community, what started as a haywire idea has turned into solid summer core memories, and I think you feel that emotion in the work and when you bring this home and have it in your space you cannot help but participate in that energy.
