Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection on the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into future happenings. You're Welcome.
The opening for Luke Brenner SURF is this Thursday, December 8, 6-8pm. I am thrilled to present this collection of work from such a talented artist and friend. 10% Of all painting sales will go to Clean Ocean Access. Plus each piece is accompanied by a commemorative tote. I hope to see you Thursday, but if you can't make it send me a note for an online preview. Big thanks to WhatsupNewp for the feature you can read here.
A larger than life sculptural candle of Julian Schnabel by artist Urs Fischer
I was fortunate to have a few days to attend art fair previews and collection tours this last week in Miami. I loved seeing so much work in such a short period of time, but it's also sensory overload. The best presentation by far was Craig Robins Collection Two of a Kind curated by my dear friend Elie Rizel. His guided tour was so full of detail and the breadth of the work was incredible.
There is a whole bunch of new work in the gallery in addition to the show for Luke Brenner Thursday. I'm also thrilled to share we have a full stock of our limited edition candles Christmas Coates and Newport Tree Lighting. Check them out here while they last.
I only have three of these sweet popsicles from artist Jo Czech. I'm putting them right here before uploading online so if you want them, just drop me a line here hello@kristencoates.net - they're $225 each and come framed just in time for the holidays.
Happy weekend from our family to yours!
XO Kristen
